Because A Better Way of Naugatuck was able to sell more than 4,000 vehicles in 2012, the independent car dealership has decided to give back to its community. Donating a total of $12,500 to various local organizations and groups, the family-operated business has ensured a better life for the citizens of Naugatuck and its surrounding areas.

Because of the poor economy, many businesses have struggled in recent years to make enough money just to stay open. Because these businesses couldn’t make their usual donations to charitable organizations, these organizations suffered. These charities desperately need funds to continue their worthy missions. Recognizing this, A Better Way Wholesale Autos has increased its efforts and has pledged to donate even more money going forward.

The renowned independent dealership made sure not to favor one charity over another. In 2012, it donated funds to 15 different organizations. Among these were the Vietnam Veterans Association, the VFW and No Vet Left Behind, which help returning vets integrate back into civilian life. These organizations provide food and clothing to unemployed vets, and offer them much needed medical treatment.

Each night, millions of people go to sleep hungry. Because of the recent recession, even citizens from established communities like Naugatuck have been plagued by high unemployment and homelessness rates. To counter this, many of its citizens now rely on food stamps to buy groceries. Unfortunately, food stamps are often not enough to feed a hungry family. To help, A Better Way purchased gift cards from Stop & Shop to be distributed to underprivileged members of the local community. During the holiday season, A Better Way Naugatuck increased its efforts, purchasing $6,000 in gift cards during the month of November alone. Thanks to A Better Way, dozens of families were able to enjoy a scrumptious Thanksgiving feast and, at least for one day, were able to push their woes aside.

A Better Way Wholesale Autos is also a regular contributor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The hospital, which primarily focuses on finding cures for ailments that afflict youth, is a pioneering research facility that relies heavily on donor contributions. Without this help, the hospital would not be able to provide the kind of care its patients need.

The dealership has donated to institutions dedicated to the well-being of its patrons, such as the Middlebury Volunteer Department, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Naugatuck Police Explorers. Thanks to A Better Way, Naugatuck is a safer and more secure community.

As a leading independent dealership specializing in providing a large inventory of quality vehicles, A Better Way enables the people of Naugatuck to purchase dependable vehicles at wholesale prices. Over the years, the well-established dealership has built bonds with its customers and the entire community. It hopes to increase this bond by continuing its commitment to charitable causes in 2013 and beyond.

The Auto Show

May 3rd, 2013

Current automobile models are seen on public exhibitions known as Auto Shows or Motor Shows. Also often seen in these exhibitions are debuting car models, concept cars and classics that are no longer produced. Occurring at least once or twice a year, automobile manufacturers and local developers use these events mainly for public relation purposes to advertise their products and create increased publicity. Shows that occur on a more frequent basis such as weekly or monthly are more informal and localized. Most are social events that allow car enthusiast to meet others who share their interest.

Auto shows offer enthusiasts the chance to test drive most of the exhibited car models. This has proven to redound to the benefit of manufacturers and dealers in the form of increased sales and bookings during the show. Auto shows not only provide a venue to see and buy cars but also serves as a venue of entertainment featuring musical shows, kiddie shows and competitions to get the interest of the whole family.

Attending a local motor show is easy enough but attending an international show requires more preparation. Travel documentation, funds, accommodations and car rental service are just some of the things to be considered. Looking into the official website of the show promoter provides information that would help visitors better appreciate the show. At present, the most popular auto show in the US is the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Other famous international shows are hosted in Frankfurt, Geneva, Melbourne, Britain, Australia, Philippines, Guangzhou, Moscow, Athens, Dubai, Indonesia, Madrid, Bologna, Turin, Seoul and Paris. The successes of these shows are largely credited to the attendance of foreign media together with local auto and business writers. Of course, the participation of famous car manufacturers with their latest offerings is required to create the excitement and interest for the show.

For a different experience, you can attend the Mud Nationals at MudCreek Off-Road Park in Jacksonville, TX. This year Bennche provided a great performance at the show with their new lines of ATV and UTV on display. Bennche don’t just make standard UTVs or ATVs, many upgrades are available with customized roofs, windshields, winches and wheels. Check out their side by side atv selection online and you’ll see that you don’t want to miss the next Mud Nationals in 2014.

Just like every other industry, there are many options when it comes to auto transport. It is important to know the difference between the types of auto transport as well as the various auto shipping companies. Transporting a car is not as simple as transporting many other, smaller, and less expensive items. There is a lot at stake here considering the cost and the size of a car. That is why it is important to understand the different ways that your car can be transported, why it costs what it costs, and whether it is worth shelling out a bit more for the safety of your vehicle.

First of all, there are two main kinds of auto transport. One is terminal auto transport, in which your car will make several stops along the way. The other type of transport is door-to-door direct auto transport. This is exactly what it sounds like. Your car is picked up from a designated spot and delivered to the desired location at an ideal time. Although the former method tends to be less expensive, it is usually more worthwhile to go with the latter, since the more stops and the more loads a car has to go through, the more chances damage will be done. It is crucial to find out all the small print before closing on a company. Find out if they are insured, what the final cost will be and so on.
