PCs are extremely capable game machines and even the simplest computers can engage the user in interesting games. A simple game of card or chess may not require any add-on but sophisticated action games will require some special hardware or a PC upgrade. Newer games usually need more updated computers. Larger monitors not only provide a greater amount of visual capacity but also allow viewing of details for clarity which may be important for the game. Game types would usually involve strategy, simulations, role-playing, puzzles and platforms.
